U12 girls - New Germany vs. HBO Studios

It was a very overcast evening on Thursday night, but I soldiered on and tried my hand at shooting at the Hebbville Academy field. I was able to shoot 1/500th second @ f/5.6 (ISO 800) for the most part but it was too dark at halftime to continue. I was happy to get these captures, too bad the ball is not frozen....

First shots of summer!

I have been extremely busy with too many things on the go, I have wanted to shoot some local soccer but was unable to do - until last night. The U16 boys were the focus at NGRHS, the light was almost perfect as the slight cloud cover eliminated shadows. Even when the sun peeked out, there was some nice contrast.

The final score was irrelevant but the home team was up several goals when I left shortly after half time....
